Notes

When I'm playing this deck, winning is secondary to seeing how many characters you can smoke with the Righteous One's special power. This deck is mostly for the people who narrate their games like movies (the fun way to play!)... and it results in lots of very strange movies about Sumo motorcycle gangs leaping out on people from nowhere. That's my kind of comedy. (Funny, my opponent's don't think it's hilarious when a Sumo leaps out of nowhere and mugs Homo Omega...)

Well, this one should be listed as a joke deck, really, although it can be quite effective against the right opponents. It's the "Sumo Surprise" deck, based upon the premise that Sumo wrestling is inherently funny. It boils down to, "How many fun combos are there for the Righteous One?" Quite a few, actually.

Because this is "Sumo _Surprise_", there are no Netherworld Passageways, Sports Cars or Whirlwind Strikes - you can see them coming, and no one is daft enough to attack a player with Righteous One with Whirlwind Strike! The motorcycles are in there because Sumos on Yamaha's are funny, and they're free.

(The one time I played it, though, it worked beautifully and paralysed the other three players with fear for most of the game! No one was game to attack anyone, after the first few attacks got wiped out... "Hey, Patrick, you know your DNA Mage, the one at the site the Walking Corpses are attacking?" "Yes, actually." (Rigorous Discipline) "He's a Sumo DNA Mage!" "Neat!" (Splat!) ).
